In The Flow

Don’t we all like to feel like we are “In the Flow” …we feel a relaxed focus. Everything is going well. we are connected and content. I am ofter in a flow state when I am painting. This painting, “In the Flow” also is associated with water with my use of blues, greens, turquoise and white. there are some visual relationships to waterfalls and flowing water, with the subtle striped pattern and white areas, looking rather like a waterfall. The painting also has small, contrasting areas of black, yellow, red, and some grey. There are a few other patterns, marks, and some irregular forms, resembling clouds. There is a lot going on, but the cool colors are known to relax us and help us to achieve that calm mood that we enjoy in life.
