All artwork is the sole property of Maureen Burger and is held under copyright, even after purchase.The images, artwork, and contents of this website may not be copied, collected, resold or used for personal or professional gain without the written permission from Maureen Burger.

We reserve the right to:

- modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you;  you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or  withdrawal of the website.

- change these conditions from time to time; your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check  to determine whether the conditions have been changed.

Any order placed through the website is not binding until the work has been dispatched. Artwork listed may be withdrawn from sale at any  point by the artist for reasons such as, but not limited to, sale elsewhere or withheld for exhibition display.Shipping FAQs

Shipping

How long will it take to receive my artwork? 
Please allow 1-3 weeks for shipping. Custom-fitted boxes are ordered for some of our pieces to be shipped securely to you,
hence there is a little longer turn around time. If I happen to be traveling at the time of your order, shipping can possibly take longer, and I plan to note my return date in the shipping information you see at checkout. Please be patient; the artwork will be shipped as soon as possible. Most orders will be packed and shipped within typically 7 business days. Pieces are sent by USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the size and weight. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

What about extra large or high-value artworks?

I appreciate this is a high value purchase - and a piece of work that has been many hours in the making. It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. You will be notified with shipping details with each product you are interested in. We will provide you with an estimated shipping charge. We will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. According to the delivery service chosen, actual costs may be higher than the estimated cost shown.

To what countries do you ship?
Original artworks are shipped within the United States and Canada only and are packaged and shipped via UPS, USPS, or FedEx

What if I live outside the United States of America and Canada and would like to purchase your artwork?
Please be aware that I am currently shipping to USA and Canada only at this time. However, if you are outside of the USA or Canada, please contact me and I would be more than happy to give you a quote to send a painting internationally. Overseas and border-crossing shipments (outside Canada) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges. methods are limited to those available in the checkout process for all customers.

Shipping and handling fees:
Shipping & handling fees are based on current rates. Most of the fee has been incorporated into the cost of the painting.

Can I pick up the art work from your studio?

Absolutely. If you would like to collect in person, you can select PICK UP at the checkout. Once you have placed your order, I will email you and we can work out a day and time to meet. My home is in Northampton, PA, USA. Because no shipping is required, I will give you back a portion of your purchase upon pick up.

I entered the incorrect shipping address. What should I do?
At checkout, please verify that your Name & Delivery Address are correct and include your best telephone number where you can be reached should your parcel carrier need to do so. If you see that your information is incorrect after your purchase has been processed, please contact me here immediately and provide the correct information.  We are not responsible for items sent to an address which is incorrectly entered. 

When will I receive a tracking number?
Once your order is transferred to the carrier a tracking number will be emailed to you.

*Once the artwork has been transferred to the carrier We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the carrier/shipping service and we are not liable for any damage incurred during or post-delivery.

Damaged or Incomplete Shipment

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a damaged or incomplete shipment of Products, or if you are otherwise unhappy with any Product or Services, please contact me here. We must receive notice of a damaged or incomplete shipment within two (2) days of receipt with a photograph and we will work with you to communicate with the carrier. Unfortunately though, we have no control of any mishandling that might occur while in transit. At this time, I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product sent outside of the United States.

Transfer of title and risk of loss or damage: Title to and/or the risk of loss/damage of all products passes from us to you at the time we deliver the products to the common carrier for shipment. By purchasing products on the site for shipment, you are asking us to engage a common carrier to deliver your order. In doing so, we are providing a service to you and acting on behalf of you. We reserve the right to choose any and all procedures, packaging and the common carrier of sold products. We may not be able to have your order shipped to a post office box, to certain addresses, or on certain days. We reserve the right to ship your order in multiple boxes or shipments.
Returns 

Returns and Refunds.

All refunds are at our sole and exclusive discretion. In some circumstances, we may accept a return of the products for a refund of your purchase price, less the original shipping and handling costs, provided such return is made within 15 days of delivery and provided such products are returned in their original condition. To return products, you must e-mail us. You are responsible for all shipping and handling charges on returned items. You bear the risk of loss during shipment, meaning if an item is not delivered back to us, you will not be refunded.  We do not provide a refund based on customer preference. For a refund or replacement, please contact me. There’s a 15% restocking fee that is applied for any order canceled or exchanged. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings and no responsibility can be taken for such inconsistencies. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such variation will not be a valid reason for return.

Every care has been taken to show the work as accurately as possible with regard to size and color. Purchasing and payment

Payments through this site are taken through Stripe in US dollars. You do not need to have a Stripe account to purchase; you can use the Stripe service to pay with your regular credit card. I do not store any of your credit card details.

Payments that are invoiced to you, after a direct correspondence, are taken through Stripe in US Dollars. I will send you an invoice directly through Stripe. I do not store any of your credit card details.

Security of Data: We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure. We use a secure external payment process. In the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when ordering from the website.
