Whispers in a Dream Dreamscape Series

This original acrylic painting is part of my Dreamscapes Collection. These paintings were begun with the intention of creating a calm, optimistic and dreamlike environment. In this space, you can enter a realm of possibilities, hope, wonder, or peace. Allow yourself time and space to dream. Perhaps this painting will inspire you in some way; my hope it that you feel uplifted and have the feeling one may have after a good meditation or refreshing walk. Henry David Thoreau stated; “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.

Many of us have lost loved ones. The title of this painting hints at the possibility that someone who was very special and close to me could see me in this life and communicate what I needed to hear.

This painting on canvas uses teal or turquoise blue, peach, soft orange, white, light blue, grey, and bits of red-violet from a layer of paint underneath. there are several subtle patterns and lines, and soft blending of shapes.
