Bring nature fun and happiness into your space. This abstract acrylic painting on Clayboard has some recognizable natural elements ; leaves and flowers. In addition you can appreciate the soft, relaxing colors of light and medium blue, teal, purple, lilac and green, accented with orange and peach. I enjoyed creating the lines and patterns, revealing colors from the underlying surface. in addition, patterns were created with other tools and stencils. The image suggests a framing possibility for you.

My passion for art has led me to explore abstract painting, collage and mixed media.

I have fun experimenting, playing with media, materials, and techniques. This intuitive exploration often leads to surprising outcomes. Unlike realistic art, abstract art is often not planned, although there is often an idea, a feeling or color harmony, shapes, or type of design that I have in mind. I like to use found materials and images in collage, and various tools for painting. When I create art I am sometimes lost in another world, happily painting, printmaking, or collaging. Art is therefore therapy. Creating provides joys and challenges I hope my paintings bring you joy, contentment and lift your spirit.
