Two Limes and A Jug

This vintage jug has been in my family. It was my mother’s and I believe also my grandmother’s. I placed some beautiful, re-violet colored red bud tree branches in it and set up this still life to represent with pastels on pastel paper. The cream-color bowl has a swirl and grape design and is one of my favorites. I enjoy lemons and limes in drinks and salad and think they add a nice contrast of color and shape to this still life composition.
