Consider grouping 2 or more of the Creative Vision Series together. There are several abstract 12” paintings with unifying colors. This acrylic painting has turquoise, white, black and red colors. The textures and design of the art invite the viewer to experience the art and create a personal interpretation. The red (wine, burgundy) shapes may remind you of berries and the white…the cold frostiness of winter. Feel cozy, serene inside while appreciating a connection to nature. Abstract paintings allow the viewer to identify with the art in different ways and create their own interpretations. I have fun experimenting, playing with media, materials, and techniques. This intuitive exploration often leads to surprising outcomes. Unlike realistic art, abstract art is often not planned, although there is often an idea, a feeling or color harmony, shapes, or type of design that I have in mind. I like to use found materials and images in collage, and various tools for painting. When I create art I am sometimes lost in another world, happily painting, printmaking, or collaging. Art is therefore therapy. Creating provides joys and challenges I hope my paintings bring you joy , contentment and lift your spirit.
