Something New. Creative Vision XXVI

This painting with collage has undergone a total transformation. It started out totally different… as a collage with bright red strawberries, yellow sun, blue shapes, lettering and some other collage papers. I feel that the layers of paper, paint, and tissue paper have added richness and history to this mixed-media work of art. Parts of this remind me of winter: ice, cold blue, and white, some reflections of light with some red for contrast. I really like the desaturated red that was achieved through layering materials in the lower left. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
