Creative Vision XI Movement

There are many layers of paint on this board. When an artist paints intuitively, it often takes quite a while to progress though changes, adding different shapes, lines, colors, values, textures, lines and pattern. Sometimes the painting presents difficult creative problems which the artist needs to solve. In this painting I see a semblance of an image, but you may see something else, so I won’t promote my perception. Some art gives the viewer a certain feeling or spurs a memory; it’s subjective. Most would agree that this painting suggests action or movement due to the brushstroke, lines, angles and contrasting values.
