My passion for art has led me to explore abstract painting, collage and mixed media. I have fun experimenting, playing with media, materials, and techniques. This intuitive exploration often leads to surprising outcomes. Unlike realistic art, abstract art is often not planned, although there is often an idea, a feeling or color harmony, shapes, or type of design that I have in mind. I like to use found materials and images in collage, and various tools for painting. When I create art I am sometimes lost in another world, happily painting, printmaking, or collaging. Art is therefore therapy. Creating provides joys and challenges I hope my paintings bring you joy, contentment and lift your spirit.
