I love walking on the beach. I don’t live near a beach but have traveled to coastal locations for much of my adult life. For many years, only driving to the East Coast of the US. I take too many photographs, enjoy the warm ocean breeze, observe the waves and birds, and collect shells or stones. I try to burn some calories so that I don’t feel too guilty enjoying “a” drink for Happy Hour! Of course a swim is always refreshing! This painting was actually based on a Caribbean cruise vacation including St John’s Island….(Runaway Beach).
